The rain is upon us to kick off this weather-dismal long weekend. An impromptu keg party has just been organized (via a series of reply-to-all emails) and will be hosted at our place tonight.

Friday! The weekend looks dismal for weather.

Plans for Niagara Falls have been kiboshed due to lack of interest and ambition. Scott and Amanda Robertson's is to be the base of operations for this weekends festivities, which remain to be completely decided.

I learned this past weekend that a good friend of mine (Mark) had an altercation at Rumors Bar in Strathroy.

Short Version (Long Version to come): Owner was harassing him to give her the name of the person working there that gave him a cash advance off his credit card. He refused, they insisted, he mentioned that he could just leave and not deal with any bill if they'd like. Son of owner pushed Mark from behind and he cut his chin to the tune of approximately 5 stitches.

An outrage to be sure! People have counseled him to take legal action, or at least press charges if no civil action.

I changed the look of my blog and added comment functionality (to keep up with the Jones's (Greg Gorman)).

The apartment got new plush furniture today (Adam & Trish purchased). We're attempting to host a movie night tonight, hopefully there's enough seating now.

It's Monday. KEMF was this past weekend, practically everyone had a great time it seemed. It was a bit too cold to have fun outside unfortunately. Here's a link to Greg Gorman's blog with a more descriptive report.

Adam & Trish returned from Disney, they opened their wedding presents on Sunday.

May 2-4 weekend is this coming weekend, not sure what's going on, there was talk of going to Niagara Falls, but we'll see if this actually takes place.
