SARS continues to spread, the Americans are disappointed in us Canadians for our lack of war support.
Yesterday watched Young Frankenstein at Adam's with Jamie, Adam, Trish, Vicki, Sheila, Sharon, Byron, Amanda, Scott & Bryan. The movie was older than I am, and in black and white. Unbelieveably it's in the top 250 best movies of all time at the Internet Movie Database. (#133).

The end is nigh, I tell ya! What with the war and all, and Ontario declairing a health emergency over this SARS epidemic. You'd think modern medicine would have been able to deal with this issue when it first cropped up!

It's past midnight (Tuesday Night). Had din din with my mother at Harveys, but not before her and I paid a visit to my father, It would have been almost 8 years since my mom has seen my dad... Interesting having them in the same room again. Then to Dreamcatcher at Silvercity (with Adam, Trish, Bryan and Adam's co-worker Jen). It was a strange movie. I gave it a 6/10 at the Internet Movie Database only because I liked it more than I disliked it. It was a drama-thriller-suspense-scifi-comedy if such a combo exists! Rogers will have a hard time categorizing this movie! Then to , then to Vicki & Sheila's for a conference with Vicki. Then drove Byron home from Jamie/Sean's because he got a FLAT tire on the HUGE pot hole in Sean/Vicki/Sheila/Jamie/Jeremy/Carol's apartment laneway.

Tonight (Monday) was the CIBC bowl-a-rama at Huron Bowl. I invited 11 people, Kevin was a no-show.. Pizza came over an hour after we got there, and everyone was hungry!

Oscar Night! (Sunday). Usually it's a snore, but it's slightly more exciting when there's a war going on.
Specifically Michael Moore's statement:
--
I've invited my fellow documentary nominees on the stage with us ... They are here in solidarity with me because we like non-fiction. We like nonfiction and we live in fictitious times. We live in the time where we have fictitious election results that elects a fictitious president. We live in a time where we have a man sending us to war for fictitious reasons, whether it's the fictition of duct tape or the ficticious orange alerts. We are against this war, Mr. Bush. Shame on you, Mr. Bush. Shame on you, And any time you have the Pope and the Dixie Chicks against you, you aren't long for the white house.

Sunday Morning.. Yesterday went for lunch at the Mandarin's Buffett (always good until the end). Then to westmount, I bought a Canada Day hat while I was there because it looked so stupid (and it was half price). Went to my Dad's to help him setup Windows 98, then to Adam's to drop off some boxes, then to the BBQ at Scott & Amanda's then to Sean's on my way home (got watching Jackass the movie while there, I laughed).
